The Muscle Primer is specifically designed to contour to your body providing greater surface area and priming ability. The Muscle primer is a refreshing and intuitive system to improve performance, enhance recovery and decrease risk for injury in order to achieve personal records and everyday prestige ultimately quenching the physical thirst that eludes all of us.



Maintain a 45 degree angle to the muscle you are applying the technique. This can be adjusted to comfort, but you should be able to feel the muscle tissue through the tool.

Lower extremity instructional guide:

 

Quadriceps (thigh)

1. Apply lotion to the tight or sore area

2. Begin by scraping the muscle tissue downward toward your knee -Apply enough pressure that your fingernails begin to turn white

3. Following the downward stroke, scrape upward toward your hip

4. Continue the reciprocal scraping for approximately 2 minutes

5. While scraping feel for damaged muscle tissue (ie gritty, bumpy or lumpy painful areas)

6. When you feel the irregular tissue, flip the tool and use the rounded edge scraping the irregular tissue 12x alternating the downward and upward strokes

7. Finish by completing 5 upward strokes toward your hip

8. After using the Muscle Primer it is important to stretch and integrate the affected area with neuromuscular healing (Complete 2 sets of each)

Hamstring (biceps femoris)

1. Apply lotion to the tight or sore area

2. Begin by scraping the muscle tissue downward toward the back of your knee -Apply enough pressure that your fingernails begin to turn white

3. Following the downward stroke, scrape upward toward the base of your buttocks

4. Continue the reciprocal scraping for approximately 2 minutes

5. While scraping feel for damaged muscle tissue )ie gritty, bumpy or lumpy painful areas)

6. When you feel the irregular tissue, flip the tool and use the rounded edge scraping the irregular tissue 12x alternating downward and upward strokes

7. Finish by completing 5 upward strokes toward the base of your buttocks

Calf ( gastrocnemius)

3. Following the downward stroke, scrape upward toward the back of your knee

4. Continue the reciprocal scraping for approximately 2 minutes

5. While scraping feel for damaged muscle tissue )ie gritty, bumpy or lumpy painful areas)

6. When you feel the irregular tissue, flip the tool and use the rounded edge scraping the irregular tissue 12x alternating downward and upward strokes

7. Finish by completing 5 upward strokes toward the base of the back of your knee

Shin  (Anterior Tibialis) 

1. Apply lotion to the tight or sore area

2. Begin by scraping the muscle tissue downward toward of the outside of your shin bone starting from your knee and finishing at your outside ankle -Apply enough pressure that your fingernails begin to turn white

3. Following the downward stroke, scrape upward toward from your outside ankle to the outside aspect of your knee

4. Continue the reciprocal scraping for approximately 2 minutes

5. While scraping feel for damaged muscle tissue )ie gritty, bumpy or lumpy painful areas)

6. When you feel the irregular tissue, flip the tool and use the rounded edge scraping the irregular tissue 12x alternating downward and upward strokes

7. Finish by completing 5 upward strokes toward the outside aspect of your knee

1. Apply lotion to the tight or sore area

2. Begin by scraping the muscle tissue downward from your heel to the base of our toes -Apply enough pressure that your fingernails begin to turn white

3. Following the downward stroke, scrape upward from the base of your toes to your heel

4. Continue the reciprocal scraping for approximately 2 minutes

5. While scraping feel for damaged muscle tissue )ie gritty, bumpy or lumpy painful areas)

6. When you feel the irregular tissue, flip the tool and use the rounded edge scraping the irregular tissue 12x alternating downward and upward strokes
